In the Home Section of the toolbar there are functions to automatically calculate the mass and centre of gravity shifts of the payload.

  • Optimise Fifth Wheel Position: Automatically adjusts the fifth wheel position of the Prime Mover.
  • Maximise Legal Payload: Adjusts payloads to the maximum mass it can handle at its current position before an axle group is overloaded.
  • Maximise Payload Position: Adjusts payload mass and shifts to the optimal position so that all axle groups are maxed out.
  • Maximise Body Position: Adjusts the body to the optimal position so that all axle groups are maxed out.
  • Maximise Payload: Adjusts payload mass to the maximum mass the Vehicle Unit can handle ignoring overloading axle groups.
  • Reset COG: Resets the Payload shifts to 0.
  • Adjust Tare Split: Optimises tare weights of a Prime Mover based off the fifth wheel position.

Some options will only show if they are available:

  • Optimise Fifth Wheel Position and Adjust Tare Split will only show if there is a Prime Mover
  • Maximise Body Position will only show if any one body is not using auto calculate body length

These functions will adapt based on the limit of the axle groups.

If you select a Vehicle Unit or any component of one then the function will only run on that Vehicle Unit. If nothing is selected then the function runs on the whole Vehicle.
